001. I made these christmas cards this evening. Its taken me ever since i got back from college at half 3! I have made thirty cards for friends and family. They are very simple, one felt shape on a white A6 card. I chose stocking, snowman, gingerbread man, bell, xmas tree, candy cane and all in a range of block colours. They are easy to make so why not have a go.

002. I also have these beauties to post about. I got them on saturday at the light festival i did a post about.

I think i might even have a go at making a few of my own pairs of these if i get a bit of time. Let me know if you might be interested in buying a pair :)

Festival of Light

 

 

My family, me, my boyfriend and two of my friends all went the Huddersfield Light Festival on Saturday evening. It was freezing! But it was also good fun. The top two pictures were women on stilts with very large lit up wire dresses. And the last picture was taken at the end of the festival where 8 dancers where lifted into the air on a crane. They dropped glitter and streamers and balloons.
Continuing the festive spirit we got out christmas tree on Sunday. I look forward to it every year. This year we are on a red and gold theme and it looks very pretty, just my room to finish doing now. Anyone else love decorating the tree?

Got an outfit post for tomorrow which probably means my pick of the week will be moved to Wednesday. Think im going to have a bit of a round up, i dont know what they are like to read but it actually really helps writing them.

Oh how time flies

This week has been disrupted by snow. Given me quite alot of time out of college which has had its ups and its downs. It meant i saw my friends and got to relax a bit and forget work, but it also meant i had work to catch up with and gave me time to realise how much i realistically have to do over the next couple of months. Bit of a pessimistic post, ooops. Going shopping tommorrow with my boy and two good friends (although i have zero money) which will be lovely :) Oh and i changed my blog header, getting into the festive spirit of this season. Thanks for reading guyz.

I couldnt live without music. Some of my favourite bands are arctic monkeys, bombay bicycle club, kids in glass houses, mumford and sons, the futures, boys like girls, the courteeners, you me at six, vampire weekend, scouting for girls, plain white ts, paramore, the script, maroon 5. Just to name a few. What music inspires you?

Okay, so just about everyone is talking about snow. College finished at lunch and everyone was sent home. So Rosie and I decided to go for a stroll out in the snow. The light was good to start with but was rubbish by the end, and i havent edited the pictures so the quality is a bit poor. I also apologise for the rather odd looking photos of me, but it was freezing! I have had today off college too and built a snowman, except i didnt get a picture cause the boys destroyed it :( *Just added the last picture which was taken today by my friend whilst we were all out in the snow*. Really hope the snow isnt troubling people too much. I quite like it if i'm honest.
