Purple shirt

Saturday, 31 March 2012

Warning, this post has quite a few pictures:

Shirt: charity shop. Leggings: river island. Backpack: asos. Espadrilles: office.

This is what i wore yesterday to college, been meaning to post an outfit in this shirt for a while. I bought it when i popped into a charity shop because i had ten minutes before my bus. So glad i went in because i honestly love this shirt! A perfect colour for summer and at the moment i wear quite a few shirts over leggings.

I am trying to work out how to record a video with sound on my mac, because when i tried it before with photobooth it didnt seem to work. Any ideas? If i do get it working think i might make a little haul video of some of the things that i have bought recently to show you guys because i dont really do enough outfit posts. Hoping to go shopping next week, have seen so many bloggers wearing lovely clothes which i need want.

Looking forward to these easter holidays! Already had one sneaky easter egg, ooops. Get time to spend with my boyfriend, see my friends, watch hunger games and go shopping. I also have a fair bit of college work to get done but am feeling surprisingly motivated. Just hope it lasts. Dont forget you can follow me on twitter :)

Jumper: charity shop, Jewellery: Sawyer and Scout, Leggings: River Island, Socks: Happy socks

Experimenting with somewhere else to take outfits photos, seeing as taking them outside today definitely wasnt an option! What horrible weather we had today. Just misty rain that soaked your clothes and made my hair curly. This is just a simple outfit, i pair a lot with leggings these days because they are so easy to wear. I also wore my white lace up converse and a big parka coat but cant really photo them inside.

The last photo shows the gorgeous new jewellery that ive bought from Sawyer & Scout. Its a bigcartel shop run by the lovely Erin from etc. It has some really great pieces of jewellery and im sure i could have bought more if my bank account had let me! So you should definitely go check out her shop and blog.

Lately i have had so much work from college, so i am doing that thing where i dont have a clue where to start, so i dont start. Which becomes a bit of a problem when the deadlines come up. I have a really big practical chemistry project that i am in the middle of, and i also have to write a 5000 word dissertation about prevention vs cure in medical terms.. So naturally i am creating lots of other little projects for myself to distract me. But hopefully that will mean more content for the blog :) hope everyone is happy and well.

Top; Topshop - Skirt; thrifted - Shoes; Office

This is what i wore yesterday for a quick trip into town with my brother. The weather was gorgeous and i was even too hot in what i was wearing! This is the first time i have worn this skirt. I got it from a charity shop for about £4, but 1. its a bit big 2. i dont think the longer style suits me. So with some clever belting i made it slightly shorter and i like it more like that. This top is now also a wardrobe staple.
Oh and you can see my ombred hair in the photos. The only problem i have with it is the line between brown and blonde feels a bit harsh..

In a perfect world, we would be together forever.

Coat - topshop, Shorts - thrifted, Top - Topman, Belt - Grannys, Converse - Office

Cant actually believe i have done two outfit post in such a short space of time! I changed my outfit several times this morning before i ended up with this. I was comfy and warm so was pretty happy. This top is actually my boyfriends but i love it and plan to keep it for a while hahaa. Thrifted these shorts from a local charity shop back last year and recently started wearing them again, really like the colour, although they are a tad too big on me. I also tend to live in converse. My feet are looking overly large in these photos.
Glad its the weekend now, been looking forward to it all week. Have a good one guys!

So there you go, things i have bought lately.
Skirt - £4 - Charity shop
Tunic - £44 - American Apparel
Shirt - £30 - Topshop
Dress - £14 - Portobello Market
Velvet dress - £5 - Primark
Blouse - £28 - Zara
Belt - £1 - Primark

Personally i quite like seeing what other people have bought. I tend to like the pieces and then go out and buy them, an excuse to buy more clothes.
You know what really annoys me with blogger though? The way they do photos. They are so hard to arrange! So apologies for the random arrangement of the above photos. Au revoir.
