Sorry this post is a bit late! I arrived back from portugal on monday and have been pretty busy since. I've had a few shifts back at work, been unpacking and sorting things around my room, had catch up with my friends and finally been out to celebrate my 18th birthday! As wonderful as my holiday was its quite nice to be home, and to see some clouds. It was so hot out in portugal. How do i get what i want when i dont know what it is

I havent got much to say today. Got my results this morning and was pleased with them, As in chemistry and biology and a B in maths :) Now i just have to keep working hard for my final set, and then i will get my place at uni. Oh and i have twitter now, felt i was missing out on the little community!  Follow me @alicelilymh, would love to get to know you all. 

I have a few things i want to post about soon: an outfit post or two, a whishlist from pull and bear and the results of baking some buns.

Inspiration post.

Completely over exhausted lately. The weather has been gorgeous but its only meant i have done more and slept less. This post late on a friday night probably isnt helping. My life has been pretty crazy these past few days, good and bad. The bad news: i lost one of my cats yesterday, he was killed by a car and i found him in the morning. He was called Dylan and was 9 months old. We all miss him.So there have been many tears but things will be ok. On the brighter side i got my results yesterday and managed AAB which i am happy with so that made my day a bit better. Sorry to bother you all with everyday nonsense rather that fashion stuff (not that i post about that much anyway.)

The dress i ordered from Yayer is at the post office and just needs to be picked up, cant wait to get it! Really hoping it fits and suits me. I'll get a photo up asap. In the meantime i hope everyone has a better week than i have been having. :)

Just a little thank you

Okay so here is the giveaway. Probably should have taken a close up of the socks too, but ah well. The socks are from topshop and are pretty cute, i was hoping to get some slightly more frilly ones but no such luck, but these are lovely. This bag was a really great thrift find which i thought would be perfect for this giveaway, its only small but holds more than you think. And finally the necklace. It from a vintage store in Huddersfield which i am in nearly everyday. There were a few necklaces but i chose this one since it can be worn with so much! D is for Dress

I have lusted after this dress for a while and was actually at the final point of checkout with it and didnt buy it. But it is still there, as if it is waiting for me to buy it! I do love it. The collar, drop waist, lace detailing and cream colour, but really not sure if it will suit me. What do you guys think?

In other news i have everything for a little giveaway to thank you all for taking the time to read my posts and comment. You'll have to wait till i post to see what it is, i will try get that done tomorrow but i need to take a few photos. And another things is that i finally got my tattoo today! Its an infinity symbol on my left hip. I will get a picture posted up asap but will probably post one on my twitter first so you should check that out :)

Welcome to all my new followers, cant believe i have reached over 100. So glad someone is there reading what i write, ha. I have a couple of things lined up for a giveaway just to say a little thank you. Its nothing big but ya'no.
Tuesday are actually one of my favourite days. I only have 3 lessons, home by lunch, and the whole afternoon to myself (unless i have to go to work). So today i am going to take my laptop in for repairs - this may effect how often i blog - and pop into the tattoo studio to see about getting this tattoo i want. Rather nervous! In a bid to get to know the bloggers i follow better i have done an interview with Bee from Vivatramp. I have followed her for a while now and i love her writing style and what she posts about. I can relate to quite alot of what she posts about, and the knew 'What if..' posts she has just started writing have already got me daydreaming! And for the interview:

What/who inspired you to start a blog?

I've always had an interest in writing and the release it can give people. This inspired me to start my own blog and engage people with my own writing. I didn't really know anyone with a blog prior to starting one so it's amazing to think of the amount of friends I've made due to it!

What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out?

Work out your niché. Do you want it to be a food blog? A fashion blog? A lifestyle blog? Ensure that you write features relevant to you, your passions in life and your blog. Don't feel you have to be part of the crowd. After all, it's your individuality that'll set you apart from thousands of bloggers. Do you think it was important for you to gain followers?

For me, it's not really a popularity contest. I'm still as happy blogging as I was when I had about 10 followers. However, this is not to say that I don't value each and every single one of my readers. Their interest means the world to me and it's so rewarding to see the blog growing. It's really quite overwhelming. Basically, don't make blogging about followers...make it for you. I think once you lose that personal element you lose part of your spark.

I love all your posts but my favourite is H is for Happy. Which is your favourite to write?

I'm glad you like 'H is for Happy'. I think it might be my favourite to put together too! I think it's because it makes me feel good to be thinking about the simple things in life that make me smile. It's also nice to receive good feedback from people saying that it's cheered up their day. Although, my new post 'What If...' is also a lot of fun to write too! I hope people like it!

Whose is your favourite blog to read? And why?

Oh god, that's like picking your favourite child! It's impossible :/ Oww, this is horrendous to answer because I've made soooo many friends and I find so many blogs inspirational  :| Okay, I'm going to go with the lovely Lyzi's blog over at http://littlebeinglittle.blogspot.com/. I love it's eclecticism. I'm also madly in love with Lyzi - not in a gay way. I definitely advise you head on over there now!

Even though fashion isn’t your main blog focus, if you could only have one type of piece of clothing forever, what would it be? And why?

Oh god :/ I'm gunna go with a cape. A sparkly gold cape. I think it's one of those items of clothing that you'd treasure forever and it'd set you apart from the crowd. It'd also make you look like a superhero and that's a brilliant look. If I was going to pick my favourite piece that I own...I'd have to say it's probably my bright red coat. I'm visible for miles in it and this makes me feel safe. Ha!

What’s your favourite high street store to buy from?

I don't really buy a lot of things and when I do it's usually online :S However, I loooove browsing Accessorize for all their gorgeous accessories. I think you can get some really high end looking pieces for a small price. I'm one for cheap and cheerful fashion so any high street stores like: Topshop, River Island, H & M, New Look and Primark take my fancy.

How long do you think you will continue your blog for?

I will stick with it for as long as it makes me happy and feels right! Vivatramp has become my baby. I want to be here to see it grow up!

YAYER

I recently found this site on someone elses blog, cant remember whos so comment me if it was yours! It is called Yayer. Been looking at it for ages today, i love the way they style the pieces and how individual each piece is. I have chosen this vintage prancing pony dress as my favourite. Its adorable and cute in a deep red colour. The ruffles at the front are also great for a body shape like mine (aka flat).

Secondly - in my Graze box which came in the post today i got 'bear necessities' 'honeycomb flapjack' 'deli topped focaccia' and 'new england'. They all look lovely and getting it has absolutely made my day! I havent eaten any as of yet, saving them for tomorrow. To get your first box for free just enter R1MYRKN3 :)
