F is for Festival

Totally major excited for Leeds Fest this year. I have a weekend ticket and noone in my family seems to quite understand my reaction to the line up. I mean mcr, muse, 30stm, two door cinema club, enter shikari, noah and the whale, the vaccines, the naked and famous, bombay bicycle club, panic at the disco and cage the elephant. Its like a dream.

I also cant wait to sort out outfits for the three days! Going to be wellies, shorts, tights, tops, hats and lots of jewellry. The weather best be good. Like it has been lately. Who else is going this year? Anyway, enough ramble about Leeds fest.

D is for Dress

Yayer

I have lusted after this dress for a while and was actually at the final point of checkout with it and didnt buy it. But it is still there, as if it is waiting for me to buy it! I do love it. The collar, drop waist, lace detailing and cream colour, but really not sure if it will suit me. What do you guys think?

In other news i have everything for a little giveaway to thank you all for taking the time to read my posts and comment. You'll have to wait till i post to see what it is, i will try get that done tomorrow but i need to take a few photos. And another things is that i finally got my tattoo today! Its an infinity symbol on my left hip. I will get a picture posted up asap but will probably post one on my twitter first so you should check that out :)

D is for Done

So i think christmas is pretty much over and done with now unfortunately. I was back at college today, decorations are starting to come down and the last of the chocolates are disappearing. But i thought i'd share 3 photos with you that i took on christmas day.

Little visit into town today after college and i bought a couple of things from topshop. Not sure on the skirt though. Keep or return post tomorrow possibly.

C is for Cake

 01. Found 'Stray Jewellery' recently and they have some lovely things on there. I went for the ring cause i could not choose between the amazing choice of necklaces that they have. Their pricing is reasonable and the postage is free which is always a bonus. Animal rings, well rings in general, are an actual obsession of mine atm. So you know, feel free to send me things ;)


02. I bought some new shoes today. In fact i bought some heels. Now this may seem odd for a 16yr old girl but this is the first of heels that i have owned. I am already 5"7 so have never wanted to be any taller. But how can you resist these at just £30!

03. Cake, as the title says. Its my boyfriends birthday in just 1 hour so i made him this cake last night. To be quite honest i am very proud of myself. I didnt make the actual cake section, thats just a swiss roll, but icing it and all the fiddly wings took a bit of doing! 5 hours to be precise. This is the end product. He better be grateful!

04. Bought Glamour magazine today, mainly for the free Nails inc nail varnish but ill read the mag too. I got Saville Row which is a dark purple with what seems to be a slight reddish tint. Its quite similar to Temptress by No7. Its lovely and smooth to apply and only needs one coat which is ggod since then it lasts for longer. Will probably end up buying anouther Glamour just for some of the other polishes.

B is for Barry M

Ok so i admit i have just followed the crowds. But you cant resist a new nail polish like this! Especially after seeing that it actually work on other peoples blogs. Yes, its Barry M Instant Nail Effect. I applied a base coat of Rimmel silver, which i have had for a while and rarely used, rather than my previous purple since that was too dark to show through.

I then put a layer of Barry M Instant Nail Effects over the top which cracks as it dries to give this great effect. This is the final effect:

I definitely recommend buying this! I want to layer it over so many colours at the moment. And Barry M have a 2 for £5 offer on in Boots now so you can buy 2 more cheaply just in case it runs out. Happy times. I also realised whilst taking the photos that for the past 2 months my camera has been on a sunset mode! No wonder it hasnt always been focusing properly.
Today i also bought the shorts which i have been lusting over for a while. They only had one 8 left in store and the button at the front had come off so i will have to sew that back on. But then my sister has said she will take a few photos. First outfit photos i guess. That post should be up in a few days or as soon as i have a few spare moments to do it all.
