If you've read my blog for a while you will know that since I got my watch about 3 years ago for christmas it has never been off my wrist! I used to always check the time on my phone but having a watch just makes it so much easier. Plus it makes for some great arm candy.
Loads of high street shops have started selling branded watches now but the prices can be really high. The best place I have found is The Watch Hut which has the biggest range of watches and all the popular brands! And the best thing is the prices are so much cheaper. I have picked out a few of my favourites.

Casio - Daniel Wellington - Seiko - Michael Kors - Tissot

The casio is the watch that I have, except I have picked it out in a different colour for this because it wouldn't be a wishlist if I wanted it in the same colour! I think the burgundy face gives it a unique twist.   Two very well known watches are the DW and the MK. Rose gold may have had its moment but I still love it and think it adds a softer tone to a winter outfit. At The Watch Hut this Michael Kors watch is 16% off! The final two are fairly similar and are in the style I am lusting over. I would really like a classic leather strap analogue watch to mix up with my digital casio. I really think they have a timeless (get it?!) look and could be worn in years to come.

Online shopping is one of my biggest procrastinations so expect many of these now my uni work has started again! Tesco is a shop that I like to check back to every so often because I find that they have some on trend pieces at a fraction of the price of high street stores. And, since we are hitting A/W, I am loving the green blue red and grey tones inspired by my earlier mood board.

I haven't owned a checked shirt for quite a while but think that they are a great item to throw on with some jeans. Especially this fleece lined one, nice and cosy for the colder months! I think these jeggings (really don't like that word) seem very similar to Topshops joni jeans that I have been thinking about buying for a while. 

I can't get enough of of ankle boots at the moment either. I seem to spot them everytime I start shopping. I bought a black pair last season from asos that I still wear all the time but love the more detailed style of these. I also would love a pair in a different colour and these oxblood cutout boots from asos tick all the boxes!

Wishlist #3

Just another quick wishlist for you all.  Quite a mix of items, all things i have saved in my favourites over the week.

I am definitely a jeans girl at heart and have picked out three pairs here. Two from topshop (these and these) and one from monki here. I could actually do with a new pair at the moment too seeing as i came off my bike yesterday in the city centre and have made a big hole in a pair i wear all the time! The only problem i have is that topshop jeans often seem to lose their colour and stretch, not sure if this is just my experience though?

The knitted top is from monki too and looks so snuggly! I have a thing for long sleeves lately and bought a couple of tops from h+m this week. Also loving khaki as we head into autumn and this skirt from topshop would be a perfect staple. The last item of clothing is the jumpsuit from urban outfitters. I dont own anything like this and wouldnt know where to start in styling it (any suggestions welcome!) but it looks so perfect, and its been reduced to £20. It clearly wants me to buy it.

The final products are just off the boots website. I love Daisy by Marc Jacobs and tried Dot on not that long ago and think i may love it even more. When my perfume runs out this will be the next on my list. I think i saw this rapid dry spray as a review on someones blog, so let me know if it was you, and i am quite intrigued to try it out. I usually end up doing my nails in a rush so if it works it would be really useful.

In other news i have just finished my first proper week of university and am really loving it. There has been quite a lot of work already but i find it all really interesting. I have also decided on which camera i am buying and just need to get round to finding the best place to buy it now. Cant wait to get back to taking photos for here!

This is my second wishlist. Thought i would include some items that werent clothes as well. A lot of the time my go to shoes are vans and converse, and i love the colour of these so might buy them for autumn. The jumper i saw on Astrid's blog a while ago and i loved how she style it. Its had me lusting after it ever since, and its actually quite a bargain! As i quickly mentioned in my last post i am looking into maybe buying a camera. I have always used my mums for outfit photos and other pictures on my blog, but i will be starting university soon and cant take it with me. I only have a small compact digital which isnt great quality. But i dont know much about cameras and want to try and get a good camera on a budget. Any help would be great!

This is a random collection of what i would call autumn pieces. I am definitely after a pair of good boots that will last me all the way through winter and i really like the stud detailing on these. Although i also like chelsea boots and have wanted a pair for quite a few years. The underwear is expensive, but a girl can treat herself once in a while right? The top is just pretty. And i am loving the peplum style by topshop at the moment. And ok, i probably own too many nail polishes already, but one more wont do any harm! I bought 'hidden treasure' by topshop not long ago and was a little disappointed with the colour. It is more just plain gold on the nail than a mix with green. So i hope this one is better.

Finally i really want to get my hands on a Kigu onesie. I saw them after a post on Katy's blog and they look ridiculously comfy. Oh and it would be perfect for fancy dress in freshers week at uni. My favourite is the giraffe, but i love the red fox and the kangaroo too!

Etsy picks

Been away from the blog the past week. Had some really great nights out with my friends, some long shifts at work and a gala to help out at in the rain! I have really enjoyed myself though. Its good sometimes just to get away from the computer for a bit. But i have caught up with all the posts i missed now and back to tweeting more regularly, i do miss reading blogs all the time.
Just got a few things i want to share that i have been loving recently. All these pieces are off Etsy. There are some really unique brands on there and some of the most amazing items.

1. These beauties are from Tentative Decisions and are handmade raw crystals hung from a gold chain. I love how striking they are and would really love to buy one. They are quite pricey though.

2. I have had this travel pass holder in my basket for a while and just need to buy it! The design on it is so cute and i could actually really do with something to hold my bus pass in that doesnt fall apart. She also makes some lovely temporary tattoos too.

3. I have just realised that this item actually doesnt ship to the UK :( but how cool is this embroidery hoop? Loving the quote from the how i met your mother.

4. Annarack is a little shop run by Anna. She is really talented and you should check out her blog too if you havent already. She makes some pretty earrings along with matching necklaces and rings. But this design caught my eye cause i think harry potter is pretty amazing.

Do you have any other etsy stores to recommend? I love to support small businesses and being able to have pieces which noone else does.

Ive really grown to love maxi dresses lately. I bought the one from miss selfridge a while a go (shown in my video) and it looks gorgeous on. I think i might buy a couple more before i go on holiday because they are a great cover up whilst keeping you cool. I really like the basic stripy one from river island and dont think £20 is too unreasonable. 

Also really want to buy into the dip hem trend. I wasnt really sure at first. But after seeing so many bloggers looking gorgeous in theres i am on the hunt for the perfect one. Do you like the maxi trend?

Summer lust

Okay so this outfit might have been more appropriate for the past few days (typical english weather pouring down all today!) Lately all i have been buying and wishlisting are summer clothes, wishing the time away till i go to portugal with my boyfriend and the family. Ive got a post to come in a few days on maxi dresses which are my new clothing crush. I would really love to own the outfit though. The espadrille wedges are very summery and would look good dressed up or down. The strap would be needed to hold my foot in the shoe. These shorts (sold out in my size on the website, wahhh) are pretty cool. Will have to hunt them down in a store. They look fairly short but i think you can get away with that when its really hot. Love the tribal print stitched into the pockets. Then keeping it simple with a white scalloped edge shirt.
This backpack is from Lazy Oaf. Ever since i bought a backpack in september im not sure i can use another type of bag to carry my things around in to places like college. I returned the one shown in my video. Backpacks are just so much more comfortable! And i checked with Lazy Oaf, this one is big enough to hold my macbook which i s what i need because the one i have at the moment is too small.

Wow. All that actually came out pretty long! I only have two exams left now, got my maths one out the way today. Not looking forward to a 25 mark biology essay tomorrow though. Whos idea was it to ever put an essay in a biology exam?! Well i had best go revise.

A bit of a wishlist at the moment. I love the blues and the corals from this colour palette, i wish summer would hurry up. This blog is a great form of procrastination to get away from revision (bad idea seeing as i really need to revise.) But as exams begin to start i may be a bit quiet on here and twitter. There isnt much to talk about when all i am doing is sitting at my desk writing notes out!

I do have a few posts that i would like to do though. One is a holidays post, similar to that of Niinas because i really enjoyed reading that. I think i may also do a question & answer video. So if anyone has anything to ask then pop it in the comments below or tweet me, if i have enough i will give that a go.

Daisies

If you follow Vicky over at Heartshaker then this may be a little like deja vu. But i couldnt not share it with others. Daisy jewellery (which is a shop i had never heard of before) have a collection out called Vintage Daisy. Its no secret that i absolutely love daisies. They remind me of sunny days, parks and making daisy chains. This collection is really simple but unique.

All the pieces are made form gold and silver, so are priced quite highly. Definitely not something to buy on a wim. But maybe something to treat myself too sometime. I think the studs are probably my favourite piece from the collection. I also think the bumble bee necklace (seen on their site) is absolutely adorable!

Vibrant varnishes

This will no doubt be doing the rounds on the blogs, but i thought i would do a quick post on them.

This is a new Models Own collection of polishes, who have teamed up with Hed Kandi. I had never heard of this before so, using the trusty wikipedia, I found out it is a music record label which run a lot of events including ibiza. These colours definitely look like they belong somewhere hot and sunny! I think my favourites are the blue and the big glitter one and i cant wait to get my hands on them. Hoping they will be out soon. Anyone else heard much about them?

Sorry about being a bit absent lately. LOADS of deadlines and work to get done, but hopefully it will all be out the way soon. Really gutted that i have missed out on lots of this nice weather, perfect for an outfit post. Hoping to get some photos tomorrow because i picked up a great charity shop buy early this week that i want to share with you all.

Wishlist

I have only been into pull and bear once when i was in london but have recently been lusting after things from their online site. Had a bit of a mess up earlier this week which i mentioned on twitter. When i tried to order some things the order didnt go through but the money left my account.. but its all sorted now, but the blazer i wanted is sold out :( 

There is a bit of a theme going on here. I am loving pastel green/blue/red, just about anything at the moment. These jeans are perfect for spring because i dont really have enough colourful pieces in my wardrobe so think i will order these soon. Have you ever shopped at pull and bear?

Daydreams were dangerous, because they made her wish for things she could never have

These are 4 shots are some of the clothes new in at Yayer. I love this store so much and have a few pieces from there. Each item chosen fits on their site so well, and i want to buy all of it. Thinking of maybe going for a floral jumpsuit if im feeling brave enough. The only negative i have is that postage is £3+, and because many of the items are unique they might not fit quite right and then you have to pay for the returns back. Im gonna try get some photos of the shorts i bought from them last week soon.

I have a lot to look forward to this month, but also a lot of hard work. I will have all my coursework and projects out the way by the end of march, then its just down to my final exams. Cant believe how little time i have left in college. Hope everyone is enjoying the nicer weather.

Pretty things

Found these amazing collars over at Little Me who has a big cartel shop, and i fell in love. There are more lovely ones over on the shop but these are some of my favourites. I am so tempted to buy the second collar, it is so unique! But i have spent a lot recently so am really trying to stop myself buying so much.
My life is still consisting of chemistry projects and my part time job, really wish time would slow down a bit. But looking forward to tomorrow where i am having a girly night in over at my friends house. That means dvds, chocolate and popcorn, cant wait!

S/S dresses

 

I was looking through asos a few days ago and bookmarked some lovely spring/summer dresses. I dont have enough of dresses like these in my wardrobe so will probably buy something like this soon. Definitely shop around a bit first though because i have seen some posts on other blogs about some nice items in places like boohoo and topshop. 

I think my favourite is the blue one, blue is definitely a colour that suits me and its veering towards the pastel shades i am looking forward too this season. The second dress has a really cool back on it which make me want it just to try it on! What dresses have caught your eye?

Just a couple of pieces i am lusting after at  the moment. The shoes i saw over at Claires blog, but i really need to get away from black heels! Maybe these in a different colour? Especially since most of my dresses are black. This dress is like the perfect dress for christmas. I  love the colour of it and all the detailing round the top. But its pretty expensive for what it is so i am hoping it goes in the sale or they have a big discount day. Ive been meaning to buy this clutch for a while and probably will now its free delivery. Its the perfect size for phone, cards and a bit of money. Just what i need to festive up an outfit when i go to town.

A few more things on my ever growing wish list. Think i am going to invest in a pair of chelsea boots this season and i like the shape of these a lot. I also currently seem to have a major weakness for stripes!

I have placed an order on urban outfitters taking advantage of their 15% off deal. I have ordered three tops and a wolly hat. So i will show you those when they arrive along with a few other new purchases.

Oh, and i am on the hunt for a good khaki parka (that sounds weird) for winter. So far i have been pretty unsucessful so if any one has seen any good ones in the shops at the moment then let me know :)

I really wanted to get an outfit post or something done today but i dont know how to get any decent photos. All the fam are busy and there is nowhere i can really put the camera to get it on self timer. Going to try sort something though, i wear my own clothes everyday seeing as im in college so it would be nice to show you what i wear.
