Floral Peplum Tee

Wednesday, 5 September 2012

This is one of my go-to hairstyles at the moment, its done with a hair donut. Most people already know how to do it but i have only lately found a way that works for me. If people like i can show a quick tutorial.

Top - topshop, leggings - zara, hoody - american apparel, converse - office

I had this top on my wishlist and ordered it when topshop had free delivery, and with student discount on top it only came to £10.20 which i think is quite reasonable. I love the print on it and think peplum tops are really flattering. This is a simple outfit but i was only ticking off a to-do list yesterday so wanted to be comfortable. It got sunny later on so i didnt actually need my hoody, think the outfit looks better without it anyway.

Had a successful ikea trip on monday. Which actually turned into ikea/sainsburys/wilkinsons/john lewis by the time we had finished! But i think i am now fully kitted out for university life. I need to sort through everything in my room but have a week still to do that.
As well as sorting the next week will be filled with seeing my friends and saying lots of goodbyes. Going to my friends tomorrow where we will cook a meal for a group of us, going out a couple of times for birthdays too and saying goodbye to people at work. One thing i am looking forward to is being able to paint my nails without having to take it off for work all the time! Look out for more nail/design posts to come.

Hope people who have already gone back too school are enjoying themselves. I honestly cant wait to get into university!

Autumn's arriving

Tuesday, 28 August 2012

I seem to have a habit of looking at random bits of my room when i am making a video, just ignore it haha. Ive definitely been drawn to autumn pieces lately, i think it is one of my favourite seasons in england. My favourite purchase is the studded shirt from zara. It was one of those items i saw and just couldnt leave the shop without. I hope these videos are okay. Personally i think i sound pretty annoying! But it really is the easiest way to show you the things i have bought.

I have been trying out a few new hairstyles lately. Its not really something i have ever done on this blog but would anyone be interested in me showing a few? It will probably just be some photos of the finished product rather than a tutorial because they are simple styles. Let me know because i love to read them on other peoples blogs and watching youtube videos.

Ps. I am looking at buying a camera for uni, because i usually use my mums and still want to be able to take good photos when i am away. I would love some advice on what to get so if anyone is good on cameras then give me a bell.

So there you go, things i have bought lately.
Skirt - £4 - Charity shop
Tunic - £44 - American Apparel
Shirt - £30 - Topshop
Dress - £14 - Portobello Market
Velvet dress - £5 - Primark
Blouse - £28 - Zara
Belt - £1 - Primark

Personally i quite like seeing what other people have bought. I tend to like the pieces and then go out and buy them, an excuse to buy more clothes.
You know what really annoys me with blogger though? The way they do photos. They are so hard to arrange! So apologies for the random arrangement of the above photos. Au revoir.

Pick Of The Week

Wednesday, 13 October 2010

Ok so this is week two of my new feature. Its going to be another Zara item, i think they have hit this season perfectly. The colours in this hat are stunning and the hat itself is just to cute. Wasnt really sure about it at first but i mean how can you say no really.. perfect accessory for this winter.

Will you be having this in your wardrobe?

Feature

Tuesday, 5 October 2010

Think im going to start doing a pick of the week. Add something slightly more regular to my blog until i get round to doing some outfit posts, which will happen! I will choose one item (although i doubt ill be able to stick to just one item most weeks) that has caught my eye whilst ive been online shopping, or just shopping for that matter. They wont always be extravegant pieces since that isnt particularly my style but sometimes something a bit different gets my attention. Since its now a tuesday night i'll do it on a tuesday. Seems reasonable. So this week is plain and simple but so gorgeous.

The beauties are from zara and i think they will go with just about anything. Velvet is a material that is starting to come back in. Dont think i will be brave enough to wear it in some of my key pieces yet so i think ill start on the shoes.

In other parts of my life i am wuite looking forward to the opening of the pool and fitness complex only 2 minutes from where i live! Then i will have no excuse to do a bit more exercise. I will probably get a membership and go along to a few of the classes with mates after college. Can also use the gym and pool as often as i like then, a little luxury.
