Got another outfit post for you. I wore this out today to see my boyfriend after he finished work. But i added a jumper, coat, scarf and shoes cause my god it was cold! I bought this top in the sale at UO over a year ago but i still love to wear it. The skirt is also old topshop stock, i could really do with some new skirts. On my list whilst shopping tomorrow. My ring collection has been steadily growing. I got the bird ring from my sister for xmas. It is so much nicer than the primark bird ring which i bought myself before i got this one.

Whenever it hits the weekend these days i seem to forget about doing work, which means i have a heck of a lot to do on sunday evening. Ah well. I am going shopping in Leeds with two close friends who i have rarely seen since i moved schools. Got a few bits and pieces to return and a few things that i want to buy. Hope everyones weekend is going well :-)

I though i would start to share with you some of my favourite blogs. I know that i love to find a new blogs and i was especially glad when i found this one. Rose for me writes the best kind of blog. Down to earth and easy to relate too. 'A normal british teenager' as Lydia put it. I wish i knew the people behind the blogs i follow more, but Rose seems like a lovely girl. She has a great sense of style and often inspires me when i see her outfits. So i suggest that you check her blog out.

Skirt, dress, shoes

I guess i have started doing these instead of pick of the week. Do you guys actually like them? I hope so.

I am looking for a chiffon skirt and what better than a vintage one. But i am wondering about maube buying a coloured one instead, i wear too many dark clothes sometimes. I have seen a pretty powder pink one somewhere.. These shoes are gorgeous, but they just so happen to be Gucci and £90. As much as i love them they are a bit too far out of my budget so they will just have to go on the lusting pile. Finally the dress is from Yayer. I wish spring/summer would come faster so i can wear amazing dresses like this easier. Think i will buy it a store it away for warmer weather.

If i had my way, the whole world would be nonsense.

College, to do list, homework, blog then work. I am going to try and start making some free time for myself whenever possible, even just for 10 minutes. Sometimes you just need to slow down.

Shocker, an outfit post. Its nothing special but today i had the motivation to get a few photos done and uploaded. My lovely younger brother took them for me. The top was a present for my last birthday from a friend. The jeans were a year anniversary present from my boyfriend. He knew i wanted them but he really did spoil me by buying them! The cardigan is a charity shop find. Im not so keen on the length but i really love the colours, especially with this outfit. Hopefully i can start to get a few more outfit posts in now though. Fingers crossed.

Knitted pleasures

Inspiration for this post came from the Guardian Magazine. I read several articles in it over saturday breakfast: photos, q&a, experience, blind date, home and fashion. This was in the home section this week. I have embraced knits in clothes and chunky jumpers are a must at the moment! But there is just something about these knitted interiors which i cant take my eyes off.
Each item is colourful and would really add something to a room, admittedly you couldnt have more than one in a room. All of these (except the cushion) are out of my price range, but a girl can dream right?

its just a waiting game

Saw this film on thursday evening and it was brilliant. I wasnt sure about how they were going to fit 127 hours of being trapped under a rock into a film of about one hour and a half, but Danny Boyle did it really well. Not going to spoil the plot (but i would be surprised if you didnt already know.) Some parts a rather gruesome but its hard not too keep watching. The main actor plays the part amazingly. I swear i felt for the guy. The film moved me and really makes you realise that all this actually happened to the guy. It is definately something i would recommend seeing.

Congrats if you read through that. I will be back to usual wishlists and fashion posts tomorrow.

Topshop: shorts £18 and top £10.80

I returned the blouse i bought from New Look today but i just couldnt resist the topshop sale. I had tried on these shorts before and put them back because im just not sure when i can wear them, or what with. Any suggestions? I also bought this breton top. I dont actually have one so thought that £10.80 was a bargain. The material is quite thick and it is long sleeves so it may not be the best for summer, but you never know with british weather.
I went to see 127 hours tonight too but more on that tomorrow, i do recommend it though!

edit: just a note to say i have decided to return the shorts since i probably wont get enough wear out of them. although i am happy to sell them on for the price i bought them plus p&p if anyone wants to buy them. they are a size 6.

A little bit of colour on a rainy day. Today has just been 'one of those' days. So busy, rushed, tiring and boring at the same time. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Hope everyone else had a good day today.

Just have a couple of images today. I absolutely love weheartit. I have had one of those perfect weekends. I worked Friday till half 9 then walked up to my friends to join the house party. Have not let myself go in a while because of exams so it was a relief to have no deadlines for a while. I then spent Saturday evening, night and Sunday with my boy. And once he had gone i have cleared through most of my wardrobe. Its very satisfying. How was everyone elses weekend?

Ive made a couple of online purchases lately. I was tempted by the free postage at new look and have decided to keep two of the three things that i have bought! I bought an American Apparel voucher off Groupon on Gem's reccomendation, it caused such a kafuffle because we thought it had gone through, then it hadnt, now it has and we ended up ordering 3 (ooops!) So i had £50 to spend online, £50 to spend instore and £50 went to my sister. Been wanting the alphabet top for an age so im glad i had an 'excuse to buy it'. The socks are a little extra for my boyfriend :) The tunic is from topshop like i said i was going to buy. The others are from new look. The peter pan collar is too cute and very easy to wear. I was dissapointed with the blouse though cause the material is really clingy and just doesnt sit well.

Back in not shopping world i have been working, 3 shifts already, and although its hard work i am really enjoying it. I get to see my boy after a whole two weeks because of exams and so much else going on. And also i would just like to say hi to all my followers. 50, wow. Thank you!

Tattoologist

For months now i have quite liked the idea of a tattoo. I started following the Tattoologist a while back and there are some beautiful images up there, really inspirational. I think i would have to be certain before i got one because i know you cant exactly just get rid of it. I love the wrists but dont think i would be brave enough. I am thinking maybe more on my hip? Anyone had a tattoo before?

Bit of a shoe fest today. Think what i want most are those suede loafers from Asos. The loafers in topshop are actually a bit nicer i think but these are £15 cheaper and that really makes all the difference. Will probably order them and see what they are like. I have rather odd feet so i really need to try them on to check if they are right. any shoes your lusting after right now?

One exam left tomorrow and im not panicking too much. Somehow chemistry has gone on this term which makes me happy. I also have my second shift at work tomorrow to the annoyance of my boyfriend who i was meant to finally be seeing after the exams. That will have to all wait till Saturday :(

Exam today, exam tomorrow, exam the day after that. Right now i am in a full on stress. Cant wait till these next two days are over. I havent even been tweeting as much (alicelilym), let alone blogging. Ive got a few things to post about that have come in the post so that will be done asap. Youll know what to do when the time is right

Black and white photo because the colours just werent working, everything looked yellow and rubbish. This week has flown by. I went back to college, have had several mocks, done a lot of revision and actually got a job (found this out about an hour ago). Im really nervous though because i dont know what my hours are going to be like and i really hope there arent too many cause i am already so busy! Plus they want me to start tomorrow and work tuesday and i have exams, panic mode.
I have been writing endless lists of wht i should be doing but not really doing a lot. I have made some orders off the internet so hopefully they will arive soon, will show you them when they do. Good luck to everyone who seems to be having exams now.

Rain Polish

Quite fitting really after all the rain/slush/snow we seem to keep having. Got this along with 5 other colours for christmas. Its the Eyeko Rain Polish and it is a grey blue colour when dry. I have been impressed with these nail polishes. They have gone on easily, dryed quicker than a lot of other polishes and have lasted without chipping for several days. I used Punk Polish before this one (bit more neon than i expected!).

I just couldnt get any decent light on the photos without flash so they are a bit washed out, and there is a stupid reflection on the bottle. Apologies.

You only live once

Okay, i am so bogged down right now with revision it is unreal. I think this is the most i have ever revised. I have 3 exams next week and cant wait for them to be over.
Today i had an interview at Dominos ha. Classy, i know. But its money and right now i could really do with some. I find out tomorrow if i have got it but i think the interview went well so fingers crossed.
And finally i just want to say a massive thank you to those who follow and comment on my blog. It quite literally makes my day. Hope the rest of the week is good to everyone.

It reminds me of a fairground.

I clearly wasnt very happy with my face. Easy option, cut it out. I bought this skirt yesterday in the topshop sale for £10. I think its navy, although it doesnt show very well in the pictures. Im really not sure what to wear with navy cause black really just doesnt go. To me i am reminded of a carousel when i see it cause it comes out quite a way, it may means its hard to dress for the daytime. But on the plus side: its lovely, a bargain and i need more skirts. Thoughts?
